LABOR, DELIVERY AND COMPANY POLICIES

Set-up Set-up, labor rates
$25 minimum charge.

Store Hours
Monday – Friday  8:30 am-5:30 pm
Saturday9 am-1 pm(Pasadena only)

Return Times: Equipment may be picked up after 3 pm the day before your event and is due back by noon the day after your event. Equipment held longer than this will be charged at a rate of 20% per hour, until five hours have passed, at which point another full day will be charged.


RENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  1. IDENTIFICATION
    A form of picture ID.

  2. SECURITY DEPOSIT
    JD Audio Visual, Inc. requires a deposit in the amount of three times the daily rental fee of all the equipment rented. Deposits are held until equipment has been returned and fully inspected, and, if paying by check, checks have cleared the bank. We can accept security deposits in the form of:
    1. Credit Card – Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover
    2. Certificate of Insurance – JD Audio Visual, Inc. must be named the Loss, Damage Payee. Coverage must include, explicitly, miscellaneous equipment, rented equipment, or rented and leased equipment. Policies with Unattended Vehicle Disclaimers will not be accepted. All certificates and attached forms are subject to verification and approval by the management before the equipment is released. A credit card is required to cover any insurance deductible as well as to guarantee rental payment. Insurance will be required on all equipment valued at over $10,000.
    3. Cash for customers picking up in the store. We don’t accept checks for deposit.

  3. SHIPPING
    There is a two-day minimum rental period on all equipment to be shipped. Shipped rental equipment is sent by airfreight with shipping insurance, prepaid by the customer. If equipment arrives with damage or problems, the customer should inform JD Audio Visual immediately. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier.

  4. LOSS, THEFT OR DAMAGE
    Customers are responsible for all losses or damages to the equipment rented. Damages and losses will be billed separately from the rental invoice. Renters will be charged at the day rate on equipment that is lost or stolen until JD Audio Visual is reimbursed for complete replacement cost.

  5. RESERVATION AND CANCELLATIONS
    Please call in advance to reserve equipment. Failure to cancel your order may result in a half-day rental charge.

  6. ACCOUNTS
    Customers who are on open account will be billed on a NET-15 basis after return of the rental equipment. To qualify for an account, a customer must fill out a credit application. We do not offer accounts to new customers and require that you rent from us at least once before you can apply for credit.
